Shantel Luciano, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS)
Shantel worked in LA County at one of their trauma centers as well as the LAFD; this is where Shantel was inspired and led her to her true passion – treating first responders. While obtaining her Master’s degree in Nursing and studying to become a Nurse Practitioner from Walden University, fell into her niche – treating uniformed personnel who selflessly serve our communities. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has spent the last two years exclusively treating First Responders who suffer from various psychiatric and substance use disorders, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and alcohol use disorder.
Shantel remains committed to providing quality care and support to her patients and their loved ones. She prides herself on building a strong foundation and believes each patient encounter should be based on healthy relationships supported by kindness, compassion, empathy, and respect. Guided by her faith, she believes all patients should be treated conservatively with care unique to each patient.
In her spare time Shantel enjoys exercising, country concerts, going to church, watching the sunset, and spending time with her family, friends, boyfriend, and most of all, her son and daughter.
