Jonathan Carale, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant who provides psychiatric care at Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists. He is passionate about helping patients improve their mental health and overall quality of life through compassionate, individualized care.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. He later attended Franklin Pierce University in Arizona, where he earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Before attending PA school, Jonathan worked as an emergency room medical scribe for two and a half years.
Jonathan believes that effective psychiatric care begins with listening to each patient and understanding the individual behind the symptoms. He strives to develop treatment plans that consider each patient’s unique concerns, goals, medical history, and life circumstances. He values building a strong patient-provider relationship based on trust, respect, open communication, and shared decision-making.
His clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric concerns affecting patients throughout different stages of life. Jonathan is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and working collaboratively toward improved mental health and well-being.
