Michael “Mike” Santillan, PA-C is a Nationally board-certified Physician Assistant at Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists.
Mike grew up in Glendale, Arizona where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Grand Canyon University. While attending college, he gained experience in the medical field working as a CNA in behavioral health, which fueled his desire to specialize in psychiatry and addiction. Mike then moved to California where he received his Masters of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences. Mike prides himself on his ability to form a positive, trusting relationship with each of his patients. It’s important to Mike that he and his patients work as a team to achieve their highest quality of life.
Mike’s embedded beliefs in the positive mental effects from proper exercise, health and nutrition have influenced him to take a special interest in the area of nutritional psychiatry, which plays an important role in his therapeutic approach.
Outside of the office, Mike enjoys strength training, exercise and outdoor activities such as; hiking, camping and going to the beach with his girlfriend and 2 dogs Charlie and Scout. As well as, attending their local Christian church on Sundays.
