Christine M. Johnson, MSN, PMHNP-BC, AGACNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping patients achieve improved mental wellness through compassionate, evidence-based care. She believes that mental and physical health are deeply connected and is committed to treating the whole person, recognizing that lasting wellness begins with addressing both the mind and body.
Christine’s passion for psychiatry developed through her medical nursing experience, where she recognized that many patients with physical health conditions were also struggling with mental health challenges. Seeing firsthand how emotional well-being profoundly impacts physical health inspired her to pursue advanced training in psychiatry and help patients achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their quality of life.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Los Angeles, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Global. Christine is dual board-certified as both an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), providing her with a unique understanding of the relationship between medical and psychiatric conditions.
Christine is committed to providing individualized, patient-centered care through medication management, education, and evidence-based treatment. She strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to achieve their mental health goals.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and continuing her education in psychiatry and neuroscience.
