Larissa Gonzalez, PA-C

Larissa Gonzalez is a board-certified physician assistant who works with Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists to help destigmatize mental health and provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive care.

Larissa was motivated to pursue a profession in medicine to increase healthcare access to underserved populations. Raised in Mexico and overseas, she was exposed to contrasting socioeconomic realities at a
young age which inspired her to pursue a profession that could help mend health disparities on an individual and systemic level.
She is dedicated to helping others to find purpose, meaning and beauty in every stage of life.

She obtained dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Houston. Subsequently, she attended the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City where she completed a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. 

Larissa has worked in both Los Angeles and Orange counties serving a variety of populations which has made her mindful and compassionate about the unique circumstances affecting low-income, Spanish-
speaking, LGBTQIA, and unhoused populations. She applies both evidence-based medicine and a deep understanding of how the mind, the body, and the soul contribute to the healing process. Larissa aims to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a
safe, non-judgmental, nurturing environment.
