Dr. Christy L. Mantanona Lee, DO is a board-certified Psychiatry Physician at Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS) specialized in adult psychiatry, psychotherapy, and military mental health. Dr. Mantanona Lee has the expertise to treat various psychiatric conditions with comorbid medical conditions. She takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to determine an individualized treatment plan for each of her patients.
She has a special interest in women’s mental health, mental health treatment for veterans, and cultural psychiatry. Dr. Mantanona Lee received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology at the University of Colorado at Boulder and received her medical education at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. She completed a Family Practice Internship at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and Psychiatry Residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego.
She served as a Navy Psychiatrist for over eight years. Dr. Mantanona Lee has received several awards during her military service including the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal while deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal from the Naval Health Clinic Quantico.
After her military service, she worked in the local community, the Veteran Affairs Outpatient Clinic, and telepsychiatry with seeing patients
throughout the state of California.
