Yvette Elpidio, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS). Yvette treats psychiatric patients of all ages at the practice’s mental health clinic in Costa Mesa, California.
Yvette earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Long Beach, and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Cerritos Community College in Cerritos, California. She then earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing, with an emphasis on Family Practice, from California State University, Long Beach.
Before joining the PNS staff in 2013, Yvette worked in a number of other specialized medical settings, including telemetry, oncology, surgery, home health, and hospice. She also worked for three years as an infusion nurse for ATP Clinical Research.
Yvette holds multiple certifications, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Alzheimer’s Disease Assessment Scale, Basic Life Support, and Clinical Dementia Rating Scale. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a clinical instructor, lending her experience and expertise to students in the nursing program at Cerritos Community College.
