Jonson Job Lin, MD, is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist specializing in neuro-inflammatory biomarker-guided, trauma-informed care. He integrates neuroscience with compassionate top-down and bottom-up therapies—including CBT, DBT, Somatic Experiencing, and EMDR—to address the root causes of psychiatric symptoms. His model emphasizes brain coherence and relational presence to help patients overcome the stigma of brain-based disorders.
Dr. Lin studied Physiological Sciences at UCLA and earned a degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences, followed by medical training that included rotations at Oxford University and a residency in New Jersey. A Diplomate in Cognitive Therapy and a recipient of multiple Clinical Excellence Awards, he is a Fellow of Psychiatry Redefined and was selected for AACAP’s Early Career Research Cohort. His diverse expertise includes ADHD coaching, grief recovery, and interventional psychiatry consultations for treatment-resistant conditions.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Lin is a martial arts practitioner and musician who enjoys gardening, sports, and traveling with his family.
