Diego Belalcazar, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mood-related conditions to help them restore balance, emotional resilience, and overall well-being. Diego believes in a holistic approach to healing that recognizes the powerful connection between the mind and body. Diego has earned the respect of patients, colleagues, and the community through his compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered approach to care.
Diego is motivated by a lifelong passion for helping others heal and improve their quality of life. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Texas at Arlington and his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health from Herzing University — both while working as a critical care nurse, where he cared for patients with diverse and complex medical and psychiatric conditions. After completing his graduate studies, Diego began practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, where he provides comprehensive and empathetic mental health care.
In his free time, Diego enjoys staying active through hiking, biking, going to the beach, and traveling. He values spending quality time with his son and supporting his wife’s cake studio, where he continues to encourage creativity and connection within the community.
