Shantel Luciano, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Shantel Luciano, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works at Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS) where she evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients
with various psychiatric disorders.

Shantel earned her Associate’s and Bachelor’s in Nursing over 15 years ago and has worked alongside first responders ever since. Before joining PNS in 2023, Shantel worked in several settings as a Registered Nurse. 

For the past two decades Shantel worked in Los Angeles County at one of their trauma centers as well as the Los Angeles County Fire Department; this is where Shantel was inspired and led her to her true passion – treating first responders. While obtaining her Master’s degree in Nursing and studying to become a Nurse Practitioner from Walden University, fell into her niche – treating uniformed personnel who selflessly serve our communities. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has spent the last year and a half exclusively treating First Responders who suffer from various psychiatric and substance use disorders, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and alcohol use disorder.

Shantel remains committed to providing quality care and support to her patients and their loved ones. She prides herself on building a strong foundation and believes each patient encounter should be based on healthy relationships supported by kindness, compassion, empathy, and respect. Guided by her faith, she believes all patients should be treated conservatively with care unique to each patient.
