Juan Santacruz, PA-C

Juan Santacruz, PA-C (he/him) is a nationally board-certified Physician Associate (Assistant) here at Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists where he evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of psychiatric disorders. He is dedicated to help his patients with their mental health journey by creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment, while also empowering individuals to strive for wellness.

Juan received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Biology from Biola University and then earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in Santa Maria, California. Prior to PA school, Juan volunteered as a Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line where he helped individuals go from hot desperation to a quieter calm by offering empathy, guidance, and safety planning. Juan is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and active member of the California Academy of Physician Associates (CAPA).
