Additional Information
Elizabeth Mojica, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s degree earned with honors from California State University, Long Beach.
A member of the Neuroscience Education Institute, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness, she actively supports mental health advocacy groups and fundraising efforts in her community. In a 2024 Current Addiction Reports article highlighting substance use inequities, she was recognized for her insights and support in addressing treatment disparities in marginalized communities.
Elizabeth has been in the psychiatric field for over a decade, working in acute inpatient psychiatric hospitals as a psychiatric nurse. It is here that she found her love for mental health as she witnessed the brain’s capacity for resilience and growth.
Guided by the belief that mental health is a personal journey, shaped by different challenges and opportunities, she tailors her care to each individual’s unique needs. Rejecting the “one-size-fits-all” approach.
