Free NASH Screening
Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS) has partnered with Clinnova Research Solutions to offer a free screening for a liver disease known as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) to PNS patients.
NASH is a disease where fat builds up in the liver and can cause inflammation and scarring to the liver, potentially resulting in liver failure. Most people with NASH feel well and are not aware that they have a liver problem. If you currently meet 2 or more of the criteria below, you may be eligible to participate in this free screening service and receive compensation:
- Waistline > 35 inches in women; > 40 inches in men
- Taking cholesterol-lowering medication
- Taking diabetes medication
- Taking anti-hypertensive medication
