ADHD Diagnosis

How do mental health professionals diagnose ADHD?

Several types of evaluations can assist in the diagnosis of ADHD. At PNS, we use a computerized assessment called the Conners Continuous Performance Test (CPT). It involves a series of button clicks depending on the letter that appears on the screen, taking approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. The test helps analyze an individual’s level of inattentiveness, sustained attention, impulsivity, and vigilance.
